Volvo diesel generator maintenance general precautions:
1) Check the engine and engine room visually before starting the Volvo diesel generator to see if there are any abnormal phenomena.
2) The preheating time can be adjusted according to the temperature of the engine, and can continue to work within 50 seconds before and after starting.
3) The turning on time of the starter motor is up to 20 seconds, after which the coil of the starter motor is cut off for 80 seconds to prevent the starter motor from overheating.
4) Do not use starting spray or similar items to help the engine start. This may cause an explosion in the intake manifold, with a risk of personal injury.
5) After starting the starter, check whether the instrument and alarm display value is normal.
Volvo generator cooling system precautions:
1) Check whether the cooling system is leaking or whether the joint is loose.
2) Check whether the cooling system hose is cracked and whether the pipe clamp is relaxed.
3) Check the pump for signs of leakage.
4) Check whether the fan drive belt is loose and damaged.
5) Check the coolant level. Add coolant if necessary.
6) Check whether the radiator is blocked.
Volvo generator lubrication system maintenance precautions:
1) Check whether the oil level on the "STOP" side is between the MIN (lowest) and MAX (highest) marks.
2) Check the following parts for leakage: crankshaft seal, oil pan, oil filter, oil channel plug, oil pressure sensor and valve chamber cover.
Volvo generator intake and exhaust system maintenance precautions:
1) Ensure that the intake pipe and air filter are installed in place, and ensure that all pipe clamps and joints are tightened (especially the connecting pipe of the intercooler).
2) Check the air filter pressure drop indicator. When the red plunger is fixed in the visible position, the air filter should be maintained.
3) Check whether the joints of the oil pipelines of the oil discharge pump, supercharger and high pressure oil pump are loose.
